But Cratere is not just that, it’s a stage-mixing phaser. Unlike common phasers that only use the output of the final stage, Cratere lets you combine outputs from multiple stages. This unlocks unique notch shapes and unusual frequency profiles that typical phasers can’t reach.

Cratere features two modulation sources: a stereo LFO and an envelope-controlled random source. Use them for classic phaser tones, or push further into erratic pulses and chaotic modulations.
